Senator Kaine’s Murder Trial

Argument into the bail application filed by lawyers representing detained Margibi junior senator Roland Kaine Friday took placed at criminal court ‘C’at the Temple of Justice on capital hill in Monrovia.

During the argument, cllr. Francis Garlawolo told the court that his client was never mentioned in the indictment and should therefore not be held behind bars continously for crime he did not commit.

For her side of the argument, the prosecution maintained that it has established propable cause to have the detained senator prosecuted.

Meanwhile,the judge of the court Karboi Nuta has set the ruling in the argument based on an assignment to be announce at a later date.

The liberian judicial system has over the years been clouded with injustices most especially for those that can not afford to bribe the managers of the system.

In the wake of this troubling dilema, the judicial reporter network has been organized by a group of court reporters to put a check to these unwhollesome practices within the judicial system of Liberia by reporting cases on dockets of  courts around the country.

Meanwhile. the organization is soliciting funding from well meaning institutions around the world that have the belief in seeing justice prevail without taking into consideration one own connection or status  in society.

The organization is in need of four fourwheel drive jeeps as wellas six landcruiser pickups to facilitate the coverage of all the various courts in Liberia and  thirty thousand united states dollars to have  it organizational structure put into place and provide incentives for reporters that would be sent to cover cases in the various counties around the country.

The Judicial Reporters Network is a newly found organization in the country and has gone through the necessary formalities as a legal institution existing under the laws of Liberia.
